Jarrett is enjoying a fulfilling and joyful life with his girlfriend and his beloved cats, while also embracing his Christian faith to overcome addiction. He has maintained sobriety for several years and is nurturing a beautiful family life, dedicating himself to assisting others in achieving similar success. He has been clean for over eighteen years and aims to inspire others to replicate his achievements.

Before delving deeper into this topic, I would like to address the magnitude of the issue at hand. Consider the hypothetical scenario where the entire city of North Vancouver disappears entirely. This is akin to the reality we face when fifty thousand individuals lose their lives. It is comparable to a mid-sized city in Canada vanishing from existence.
In Canada, we have lost fifty thousand people to drug overdoses, a number that surpasses the casualties suffered by Canadians during the Second World War. Additionally, countless others continue to endure a life of suffering as fentanyl wreaks havoc on lives daily. This is a profound tragedy.

These individuals were our neighbors, friends, siblings, and children. They each had their own aspirations and dreams. Once, they were innocent babies cradled by their parents, much like the boy in "The Catcher in the Rye." Unfortunately, some may have encountered addiction through a misguided prescription for pain relief or perhaps during a night out, where a seemingly harmless offer turned into a life-altering mistake due to a substance laced with a lethal opioid.
