Bacteria are present in virtually all environments. Foods that are boiled at a temperature of 100 degrees Celsius typically contain non-harmful bacteria, while those that do not reach this high boiling point may harbor a small amount of harmful bacteria. All foods contain microbial bacteria; however, some can be detrimental to our health while others are safe.

Additionally, there are other microorganisms, such as viruses, fungi, and protozoa, that can pose health risks. It is advisable to cook all food items at 100°C before consumption.
