This is a tribute to Zaytuniyyah, Hajia Mubarakah Akanke, who was not only my mentor but also the eldest daughter of my father, Mawlaana Shaykh Misbahu Deen Ibrahiim Az-Zaytuuny. Her passing is profoundly sorrowful, as she embodied the essence of a remarkable woman.

She possessed all the attributes that define a true woman: beauty, intelligence, and profound wisdom.

Fluent in both Arabic and English, she was known by her official handle, "Al-Mishkaat." She obtained a master's degree in arts from the University of Ilorin and is currently pursuing a doctorate.

The grief that accompanies the loss of an adult is truly immeasurable.
