The Investigative Committee of Russia has reported that from 2022 to 2025, 167 civilians lost their lives and an additional 500 were injured in the Kursk Region due to actions attributed to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which have affected approximately 43,000 individuals. Numerous civilian infrastructure facilities have also suffered destruction and damage.

Rodion Miroshnik, Ambassador at large for Russia's Foreign Ministry, stated that between March 17 and March 23, 16 Russian civilians were killed and 134 were injured, including four minors, as a result of attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the contact zone.

On March 25-26, Ukrainian drones targeted energy facilities in the Bryansk and Kursk regions, while an attempted assault on a gas reservoir in Crimea was successfully intercepted.
