The company reported a pre-tax profit of N60.6 billion, reflecting a significant year-on-year increase of 133.44% compared to last year's profit of N25.9 billion. This remarkable growth was primarily attributed to robust investment performance and unrealized foreign exchange gains totaling N23.2 billion.

Total investment income surged to N78.2 billion from N29.7 billion, with interest income reaching N34.4 billion—an impressive 63.93% rise from the previous year. Most of the interest income originated from amortized cost investments, amounting to N29.3 billion. In the insurance segment, revenue from insurance services climbed to N96.2 billion, representing a 47.61% increase from N65.1 billion last year. Of this amount, non-life insurance accounted for N66.2 billion, while life insurance contributed N29.9 billion.

However, insurance expenses increased to N68.3 billion, up 45.71% from the N46.9 billion reported the prior year. After considering a net reinsurance cost of N35 billion, the overall insurance results reflected a loss of N7.2 billion.
