I pledged to enhance the availability of well-paying jobs in Northeast Calgary

Upon assuming the role of City Councillor and subsequently as a Member of Parliament, I pledged to enhance the availability of well-paying jobs in Northeast Calgary and to foster the growth of our local economy.

Throughout this endeavor, I have encountered numerous skilled individuals—immigrants from diverse backgrounds, equipped with degrees, PhDs, and significant experience—who are still in pursuit of fulfilling employment. Many find themselves in positions that do not fully utilize their capabilities and are often overlooked.

This is why I took great pride in organizing my third annual job fair, which served to connect employers with our remarkable community. Such events transcend mere job placement; they embody the principles of opportunity, dignity, and economic inclusion.

The Northeast is frequently underestimated and underrepresented, yet I remain committed to advocating for improved job prospects, increased investment, and essential infrastructure.

We will strive to ensure that our quadrant continues to be the fastest-growing and most vibrant area of Calgary.
