TABLE ROCK FIRE UPDATE – PICKENS COUNTY, SC – 10:30 PM – MARCH 22, 2025

Firefighting efforts, both on the ground and in the air, have concluded for the day. However, the incident command team remains present, diligently strategizing for a sustained response to the Table Rock Fire while rapidly gathering additional personnel and resources.

Current information regarding the exact size of the fire is not available, but officials from the SCFC estimate that it has expanded to at least 150 acres.

With the arrival of daylight, there will be enhanced opportunities for aerial surveillance and more accurate assessments of the fire's growth.

For details regarding the voluntary evacuation of residences in the areas potentially impacted by the fire, please refer to the previous update.

UPDATE FROM The South Carolina Forestry Commission

The fire at Table Rock State Park has reached 1,050 acres and is currently 0% contained.

The Persimmon Ridge fire has exceeded 500 acres and is also 0% contained.

Please keep all first responders in your thoughts and prayers as they work diligently. Those familiar with the area understand how challenging this terrain can be, especially in the wake of Helene.
