Ethiopia is poised to inaugurate a beverage manufacturing facility in the Ambo Woreda region.

During a recent visit to Ambo Woreda, Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister Temesgen Tiruneh and the regional President, Shimeles Abdissa, inspected the Keegna Beverage Industry, which is scheduled to begin operations in the upcoming weeks, boasting a production capacity of 3 million hectoliters.

The delegation also toured a model kebele in Ambo Woreda, which is part of the region's extensive devolution of power initiative. This initiative has successfully equipped 7,342 kebeles with 50,000 professionals to provide comprehensive services that were previously managed at the Woreda level. As a result, essential services have become more accessible to local communities through the establishment of kebele-level governance.

Furthermore, the Prime Minister assessed the progress of the Dendi section of the Wanchi-Dendi Eco Lodge development, noting that the civil construction phase has been completed and that finishing touches are currently being applied.
