Two Calgary water main breaks are being attended to by city staff.

After a water main broke on February 17, 2025, there was frozen water in an alley in the Collingwood neighbourhood. As severe cold grips the city, City of Calgary technicians reacted to two water main breaks in residential areas Monday morning. The city is looking into a break in the Collingwood neighbourhood. Service interruptions have been reported in 25 residences as of 8:55 a.m. Workers will be present to perform repairs in the vicinity of Cawder Drive N.W., Cheltenham Road, and Cromwell Avenue.

There was another disruption in the Shaganappi community. There are crews on location at the 26th Street S.W. 1200 block. As per the city's most recent update at 8:01 a.m., the service interruption has impacted eight residences. There's a water wagon here. For the most recent information, go to the City of Calgary's breaks and water outages webpage. If your water isn't working and you haven't been informed of an outage, as well as if you see water leaking or collecting in the sidewalk, grass, or road, the city advises you to phone 311.
