With the ninth-largest economy in the world, Canada is a powerful, autonomous country that benefits its southern neighbour. We are the finest client in the US. We purchase more goods and services from the US than from any other country, including Germany, the United Kingdom, France, Italy, and Vietnam put together. By protecting our common border and combating unfair Chinese trade practices that hurt workers in both of our nations, we can further solidify our alliance in the years to come. I will be in Washington for the inauguration because I will keep telling Americans about Alberta's economic narrative.
