The  United States is taking  steps to  disengage from China,  giving Canada a  unique opportunity to  reaffirm our strategic value to our American allies. Together, we can build Fortress Am-Can, a beacon of  long-term stability,  security, and economic growth on both sides of the  border.
Fortress Am-Can  needs Ontario's  essential minerals in the Ring of Fire to succeed.  I am pleased that our  partners, the Marten Falls First Nation and  the Webequie First  Nation, are making real progress  on road construction to the Ring of  Fire and that geotechnical work at  the drill test sites  is progressing well. This  brings us one step closer to this generational opportunity to grow our economies and protect our shared national security.
