Homes were hit by  heavy flooding overnight in a  village in north Wales. Firefighters remained in Oakenholt, Flintshire, for 12 hours, with police urging people to stay  off part of  the road between Papermill Lane and the  Oakenholt roundabout due to  'severe flooding'. Other roads  in North Wales have also been affected by  flooding.
