About 130 miles south of Nice, in Ajaccio, Corsica, the Le Lamparo brasserie was the scene of gunfire. Two of the five injured were critically ill. At least five bullets were fired, according to witnesses. When the chaos started, hundreds of customers were inside the establishment. As soon as they got there, emergency personnel helped the injured.
