RCMP issued a traffic alert because of bad driving conditions north of Red Deer

Alberta RCMP issued a traffic advisory early Sunday morning due to poor driving conditions  across the province.
On social media, @RCMP Alberta posted that "South of Calgary, freezing rain is causing extremely poor  driving conditions.

"North of Red Deer," it added, "thick fog is reducing visibility.
"Avoid travel, check Alberta 511 for current conditions."
