Lubimov: Incredible news in Alberta and for our tech sector

Incredible news in Alberta and for our tech sector with Wonder  Valley, an AI  data center industrial park to be built just outside  of Grand Prairie in Valleyview  (northwest of Edmonton)  that will be  the largest project in North  America.
It will generate  7.5 GW of  hyperscale, the first phase  is 1.4 GW with an investment of  $2.8 billion and a  life of $70 billion.
The project itself will  provide a single-digit increase in Canada's  electricity generation  capacity, or about 5%.
I am also excited about this project  because it will bring economic  opportunity to smaller  areas, expanding and diversifying economic  sustainability. This is something I have championed.
