It was an honour for me to be there at the Friday prayers hosted by the Al Madinah Calgary Islamic Assembly at the Genesis Centre. Their dedication to building community is admirable, particularly as they construct the Greendome Islamic School in our Ward 5. Being a part of and representing a ward that flourishes due to its great cultural and religious variety makes me proud. Let's keep collaborating to establish areas where everyone is appreciated and feels at home.
