The food inflation drop a little , Cassavas, yams and tomatoes etc. In Nigeria

President Bola Tinubu's Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, has posited that  meals  inflation is declining.

Onanuga  said  that the  expenses  of yam, tomatoes and  different  foodstuffs are  notably  reducing.

Posting on X, he wrote: "Food inflation is coming down as  expenses  of yam, tomatoes decline massively."

He  become  reacting to a  file  that the  charge  of a basket of tomatoes has dropped.

The  file  stated  a  large  basket of tomatoes in Ketu  marketplace  is  presently  promoting  for  approximately  N55,000 to N60,000 — down from  a mean  of N150,000  some  months ago.

He  stated  a  big  basket of habanero pepper (rodo) is now  promoting  for  a mean  of N25,000,  as compared  to N55,000 at  the height  of the  charge  surge.
