The legacy he established in Canada, particularly his efforts towards reconciliation, will forever inspire Canadians. His dedication and compassion for the most marginalized in society serve as a profound example for others.

What inspired me the most, and provided personal solace during our discussions, was his embodiment as a Jesuit, illustrating that genuine rational thought reaches its pinnacle in compassion and service to all of God's creation. This brilliance of heart defined both Francis's life and his leadership.
