The remarks made 10 hours ago by a Saskatchewan Party MLA are profoundly hateful and damaging.

Racquel Hilbert's apology fails to alleviate the distress caused by her initial statements, which were evidently premeditated and scripted prior to being presented in the Legislature.

This Legislature is a space that belongs to the citizens of Saskatchewan. It should serve as a venue for unity rather than division.

I would like to take a moment to acknowledge Saskatchewan's Sikh community—a group that significantly enriches our province and demonstrates remarkable generosity through various contributions.

Additionally, I wish to commend my colleagues Tajinder Grewal and Bhajan Brar, both of whom are proud Sikhs and dedicated representatives for all the people of Saskatchewan. It is an honor to work alongside you every day.
