🚨🇰🇷  OFFICIAL: LANDING GEAR FAILURE CAUSED FATAL MUAN  CRASH
Firefighters have confirmed that a landing gear  failure led to  the crash of  a Jeju Air flight at Muan International  Airport this morning, killing 28  people.
The Bangkok-bound  plane, with 181  people on board, crashed at 9:07  a.m. local time (7  p.m. ET Saturday),  skidded off  the runway and  hit the perimeter fence.
Rescue operations continue as investigators  review footage of the crash at South Korea's southwestern aviation hub.
