Today, I had the honour of joining  WestJet CEO Alexis Von Hoensbroech and our amazing Alberta team to celebrate two years of a groundbreaking partnership  that has taken aviation in Alberta to new  heights.
Two years ago, our government and WestJet committed to positioning Calgary as a global aviation hub. The  result?

🌍 More flights, more  travel and more global connections than  ever before. 💼 A boost to Alberta's economy,  jobs and business  opportunities.
But none of this would be possible without the incredible WestJetters who keep the planes flying and the passengers smiling. Your hard work  is putting Alberta  on the ground!
This partnership  aims not only to connect travellers, but also to stimulate investment,  create jobs and  strengthen Alberta's place  in the  world. Together,  we are making Alberta a leader in aviation excellence.
