On Wednesday, the inquiry into the Jasper wildfire will continue.

Thus far, the study has shown the following:

1) Months before Jasper burnt, senior authorities under Minister Guilbeault were overheard debating postponing planned burning for "political" reasons.

2) Top Parks Canada officials under Minister Guilbeault were unable to provide the Parliament with the number of hectares of dead pine still remaining in Jasper.

3) In response to calls for proof, the vice-president of Parks Canada under Minister Guilbeault asserted that he does not record minutes of his operations team meetings.

4) When fifty firefighters and twenty fire vehicles came on the spot to put out the fires, Minister Guilbeault's department sent them away.

5) When the Alberta government attempted to assist, Minister Guilbeault's department firmly restrained their ability to make decisions.

6) Minister Guilbeault took "no action...to address the beetle killed landscape."
wood to avert the "mega fire," a forestry specialist informed the Liberals, threatening a conflagration if they did not take action.

7) A fire team that arrived on the site to assist was threatened with arrest and forcible deportation by Minister Guilbeault's staff.

It's getting increasingly obvious what the Jasper wildfire investigation found:

The Liberal government's careless and negligent handling of the forests led to the Jasper wildfire.

More will follow.20241021_190601.jpg
