If you're visiting Banff National Park for Canada Day, it's important to plan ahead so you don't miss any of the celebrations.

On July 1st, the Town of Banff will come alive with a day full of events, activities, and a street parade so there will be road closures and limited access downtown.

🚧 - Cougar Street and Fox Street will be closed from 2pm to 4:30pm.

🚧 - Banff Avenue will be closed from Fox Street to Buffalo Street from 4pm to 6:30pm.

🚧 - Norquay Road entrance will be closed shortly after 4pm so visitors must enter via the Banff Avenue entrance.

We highly recommend arriving early, and parking at the Banff Train Station for free all-day parking or use the free Lake Minnewanka Park & Ride 🅿
