To commemorate Yom HaShoah, we collaborated with CIJA, the Jewish Federation of Greater Vancouver, and members of the Jewish community in British Columbia at the Vancouver Holocaust Education Centre. We express our gratitude to the Holocaust survivors who courageously shared their poignant experiences with us. We firmly oppose antisemitism in all its manifestations. As we contemplate the profound effects of the Holocaust, we are reminded of the necessity to foster tolerance, understanding, and unity. It is our shared duty to ensure that the lessons learned from history guide our present actions and motivate a more hopeful future for upcoming generations.
Let us pay tribute to the memories of both victims and survivors by committing to educate ourselves and others about the perils of hatred, discrimination, and prejudice. Together, we can create a society that values diversity and treats every individual with dignity and respect. #NeverAgain
