Yesterday, I had the opportunity to meet with Tamara Mawhinney, the Canadian Ambassador to the Republic of Korea, prior to participating in a roundtable luncheon featuring exquisite Alberta beef, organized in collaboration with Travel Alberta, Canada Beef, and the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Korea.

We also visited MBN Media Group, known for their productions filmed in the picturesque Rockies of Alberta alongside prominent Korean celebrities. It is our aspiration that Alberta's attractive Film and Television Tax Credit, proficient production teams, and breathtaking filming sites will continue to draw significant Korean productions. This partnership exemplifies the strengthening cultural and economic connections between our two countries, and we are eager to pursue additional avenues for collaboration within the creative sectors. During our conversations, we underscored the achievements of Korean producers who have successfully utilized Alberta's distinctive filming locations and incentives, and we are optimistic that our province can emerge as a preferred destination for Korean filmmakers. We anticipate ongoing efforts to promote Alberta as a leading filming locale and to cultivate a robust and enduring alliance with the Korean film and television industry.
