A man, identified as Jeremiah Kosesochi Nwoke, has reportedly lost his life while attempting to steal the Agemo statue situated at the Itoro Roundabout in Ijebu Ode.

Reports indicate that the individual made several unsuccessful attempts to uproot and steal the significant statue under the cover of darkness. Ultimately, he managed to dislodge the heavily secured statue but tragically died while trying to transport it.
