Severe flooding has impacted Southeastern Queensland, Australia, as a result of the remnants of Tropical Cyclone #Alfred.

Over 40 inches of rainfall have inundated Southeast Queensland, resulting in power outages for 300,000 residents. This event represents the first direct strike from a tropical cyclone in the area since 1974.
