A 32-year-old man from Calgary is confronting numerous charges following a police raid at a residence in Lynnwood earlier this month.

According to the Calgary police, Mitchell Scott Woods has been charged with five counts of possession with intent to traffic, possession of the proceeds of crime, two counts of unauthorized firearm possession, two counts of careless storage of a firearm, and possession of a firearm with an altered serial number.

His arrest followed the seizure of a 12-gauge breacher shotgun, a .22 caliber rifle, 25 grams of cocaine, and 10 grams of methamphetamine at the location. Authorities launched the investigation after receiving reports of drug-related activity at the home, along with concerns regarding the presence of a child. However, no child was found at the premises during the police search. Woods is scheduled to appear in court on March 31.
