**STAY IN GOD'S PRESENCE**

"And the angel answering said unto him, I am Gabriel, that stand in the presence of God; and am sent to speak unto thee, and to show thee these glad tidings." (Luke 1:19)

Today's focus is on the message from the Streams of Joy Devotional.

In our scripture, the Angel of the Lord identifies himself as Gabriel, the one who dwells in God's presence. Unlike Zachariah, who only visited the temple when it was his turn, Gabriel continually communed with God, allowing him to be sent forth with a message of joy. While Zachariah was a temporary guest in God's presence, Gabriel made it his home.

Friend, make it a priority to linger in God's presence. Dedicate time for intentional communion with Him. Cultivate your prayer life with purpose. Dive deep into the scriptures with intention. Seek those divine moments with God regularly. No matter how hectic life gets, carve out moments to connect with Him.

It was Gabriel, who continuously stood before God, that was entrusted to convey the joyful news intended for Zachariah and Elizabeth. It's the ones who dwell in God's presence that hold divine authority to bring about new seasons in their lives.

Zachariah, the visitor, witnessed God's promises coming to life through the one who resided within His presence. Those who merely drop in will rely on the words of those who dwell in God's presence. If you don't make a home in His presence, you'll find yourself depending on others who do.

This isn't a time for casual visits to God; it's a season for abiding in His presence. If the God who sees you—El Roi—resides within you, choose to stay in His presence.

Acts 17:28 reminds us: "For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring."

Declare With Me: I will delight in the presence of God; I refuse to be a visitor, in Jesus' name!
