China is equipping AI-powered robots with thermobaric warheads, which produce vacuum explosions and fireballs at 4,532°F that are so powerful they can collapse lungs, demolish bunkers, and vaporize humans.  Essentially, a radiation-free mini-nuke.  Drones might be used as combat "eyes," according to a PLA research, while robot dogs and ground bots would perform thermobaric strikes, blasting through 13 feet of concrete and eliminating targets within 80 meters.  This is real, and it's terrible. Forget science fiction.  Although experts caution that these weapons do not discriminate among soldiers, civilians, or children in basements, they are not prohibited way nuclear weapons are.  Killer robots might be whistling nursery rhymes now and levelling cities tomorrow due to China's rapidly developing AI war technology.  The South China Morning Post is the source.
