Scholz  has just lost a confidence vote in the Bundestag, with only 207 out of 717  MPs supporting him.  Oh!
"This puts an end to the traffic light coalition," announced Bundestag  President Bärbel Bas, as Scholz shook hands with  Vice Chancellor Habeck before  dissolving parliament.
Germany is now preparing for  early elections and rising political tensions.
