Indian-Supported Hindutva Extremism Endangers the Peace and Security of Canada

Radical Hindutva organizations with connections to the Indian government are stepping up their attempts to destabilize Canada and target Sikh communities, posing an increasing threat. In an effort to undermine Canadian peace and sow discord, groups like the Indian government-aligned #RSS are stoking instability and extreme narratives. This growing power recently exploded in Brampton, when Indian-backed pro-Hindutva radicals attacked Canadian citizens and even engaged in combat with police, intensifying bloodshed on Canadian territory.

Unsettling information about the Modi-Shah administration's direct involvement in international persecution is revealed in a new #CBC documentary. Indian Home Minister #AmitShah is accused of ordering the murder of Canadian Sikh leader Shaheed Hardeep Singh Nijjar, according to #RCMP and #CSIS sources. Shah's participation is also connected to a "murder-for-hire" scheme in New York against Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, an activist.

This serves as a sobering warning to Canadians that the Modi-Shah government in India is employing disinformation campaigns and #violent tactics in order to use transnational repression to scare and silence pro-Khalistan Sikhs. The threat posed by these foreign-sponsored extreme groups that jeopardize national security and threaten minority populations must be addressed immediately by Canada as #Hindu radicals become more brazen.
