Chinese Vice Premier Calls for Enhanced Cooperation with Laos in AI and Digital Economy On Friday in Beijing, Chinese Vice Premier Ding Xuexiang met with Thongsavanh Phomvihane, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Lao PDR, advocating for expanded collaboration between the two nations in the areas of artificial intelligence and the digital economy.

Ding, who is also a member of the Standing Committee of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, emphasized that as socialist allies, China and Laos should diligently implement the key agreements made by their top leaders, enhance high-level exchanges, strengthen political trust, and jointly protect their security and developmental interests.
