The agency says the recall  affects certain Fanny Bay, Sunseeker and Cloudy Bay oysters  from the Taylor Shellfish Canada  brand.
The memo notes that most of the affected oysters were harvested and processed in early December, although some may have been harvested as early as  November 27.
The agency says consumers who purchased oysters should  throw them out or return  them to the  point of purchase, and those  with symptoms should seek medical  attention. Symptoms of norovirus, which can  appear 12 hours after exposure, include vomiting, diarrhea, nausea and stomach  cramps.
The agency says  that while most people who contract the virus recover within a  few days, some severe cases may require hospitalization and intravenous injections.

The bigotry that @PierrePoilievre hurls at bright female journalist @carynceolin in this interview tape for merely doing her job is truly disgusting! Canada, wake up! According to public opinion polls, this individual consistently leads by 20 to 25 points. We must prevent PP from gaining a landslide majority and changing Canada in ways that will be difficult to undo. #cdnpoli #cdnmedia

"Almost all of our diseases have animal origins, such as HIV, which originated in chimpanzees, and Ebola, which originated in bats." Today I had a wonderful time  with my  fellow UCP  cohort members at the Calgary Food  Bank where we  saw the incredible work they do to support those in need. I was also very impressed  with the new system they have developed to ensure  essential food reaches those  in need more  efficiently.
Their dedication to helping families and individuals  in our city, especially during the Christmas season, is truly inspiring. 💙

This American  woman has  stage 4 cancer and there is no  cure
He has  insurance, but  he just received a letter from  his health insurance  company saying it won't cover his treatment
"One session  of chemotherapy costs  $15,000"
"My doctor confirmed that I  had the approval  of my insurance company before  starting the chemotherapy. I  have been  doing it for a few  months. The insurance company suddenly decided that  it no longer covers the  treatments"
Must receive this $15,000 treatment  "once every 3  weeks"
"Honestly, this letter  sounds like a threat.  I feel like my life is threatened and  to say that we will not pay for your life-saving treatment feels like a threat  to my  life."
We need to share these stories because one day  it could be any of us
We need SERIOUS reform of our healthcare  sector in America

Crime and war / TRIBUTES PAID TO CHRISTMAS MAR...
Last post by Dev Sunday - Dec 21, 2024, 01:13 PM

A solemn ceremony was held at Magdeburg Cathedral in Germany to pay tribute to the victims of the Christmas market attack. The ceremony, which was attended by local dignitaries, clergy, and members of the public, aimed to honor the memories of those who lost their lives in the tragic incident.

The Christmas market attack, which occurred on a chilly winter evening, sent shockwaves throughout the community. The incident, which was described as a senseless act of violence, left many people dead and injured, and had a profound impact on the city.

During the ceremony, candles were lit and prayers were said to honor the memories of the victims. The cathedral's choir performed somber hymns, adding to the poignant atmosphere. Many of those in attendance were visibly moved, with some wiping away tears as they remembered the victims.

The bishop of Magdeburg, who led the ceremony, urged those in attendance to come together in solidarity and support for the families of the victims. He also emphasized the importance of promoting peace, love, and understanding in the face of adversity.

The ceremony was followed by a minute's silence, during which time those in attendance reflected on the lives lost and the impact of the attack on the community. The silence was broken only by the sound of bells tolling from the cathedral's tower.

As the ceremony came to a close, many of those in attendance made their way to the Christmas market, where a makeshift memorial had been erected to honor the victims. The memorial, which featured candles, flowers, and messages of condolence, served as a poignant reminder of the lives lost and the impact of the attack on the community.

In the days and weeks that followed the attack, the community came together to support the families of the victims and to rebuild the Christmas market. The market, which had been a beloved tradition in the city for many years, was reopened with a renewed sense of purpose and solidarity.

As the city continues to heal and move forward, the memories of the victims of the Christmas market attack will not be forgotten. The ceremony at Magdeburg Cathedral served as a poignant reminder of the importance of coming together in times of tragedy and of promoting peace, love, and understanding in the face of adversity.

The city's mayor, who attended the ceremony, praised the community for its resilience and solidarity in the face of tragedy. He emphasized the importance of promoting peace and understanding, and urged those in attendance to continue to support the families of the victims.

As the holiday season comes to a close, the city will continue to reflect on the events of the past year. The ceremony at Magdeburg Cathedral served as a poignant reminder of the importance of compassion, solidarity, and understanding, and will be remembered for years to come.

The Christmas market attack was a tragic reminder of the importance of promoting peace and understanding in our communities. As we move forward, it is essential that we continue to support one another and work towards creating a more compassionate and loving world.

In the aftermath of the attack, many people came forward to offer their support and condolences to the families of the victims. The outpouring of love and support was a testament to the strength and resilience of the community.

As we reflect on the events of the past year, it is clear that the Christmas market attack will have a lasting impact on the city. However, it is also clear that the community will continue to come together in solidarity and support for one another.
