Labor is making strides in providing affordable housing through the Housing Australia Future Fund!

I had the honor of officially inaugurating the Believe Housing Australia Development in Panorama, alongside local federal MP Louise Miller-Frost and state housing minister Nick Champion.

With support from the Housing Australia Future Fund, 18 out of the 23 residences at the Believe Housing Australia Development are designated as affordable housing, which includes 8 units for Specialist Disability Accommodation. These homes are fully occupied by individuals with low to moderate incomes who face challenges in purchasing or renting in the private market.FB_IMG_1743898089897.jpg

This initiative is part of our Home of Your Own plan, aimed at delivering 55,000 social and affordable rental homes to Australians in need.
Labor is proactively addressing the housing crisis by facilitating home purchases, improving rental conditions, and increasing the availability of housing.
