POLICE SEARCHING FOR FIVE SUSPECTS IN CONNECTION WITH VAUGHAN HOME INVASION

Investigators from the York Regional Police Hold-Up Unit are searching for five individuals in connection with a home invasion that occurred in the City of Vaughan.
On Thursday, March 27, 2025, at around 2:15 a.m., officers were dispatched to a residence in the vicinity of Athabasca Drive and Hunterwood Chase following reports of a home invasion. Four individuals forcibly entered the home using a hammer, confronted the homeowner, and demanded the keys to vehicles. At least one of the suspects was armed with a firearm.
The suspects were unable to find any vehicle keys and subsequently fled the scene in a dark-colored sedan that was waiting nearby.
Suspect #1: Male, dressed in a black hooded sweatshirt, black Adidas pants, black Adidas shoes, a black face covering, black gloves, and a black backpack, and was carrying a hammer.
Suspect #2: Male, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, a black face covering, blue gloves, dark shoes, and carrying a red "Good Life" gym bag.
Suspect #3: Male, clad in a black Nike Tech hoodie, black pants, black and white high-top shoes, a black face covering, light-colored gloves, and was armed with a black handgun.
Suspect #4: Male, attired in a black Nike Tech hoodie and black pants, white socks, dark shoes, a black face covering, and light-colored gloves.
Suspect #5: No description is available as this individual remained in the vehicle used by the suspects.
