Release of Violent Offender

In the interest of public safety, the Edmonton Police Service is issuing a warning regarding Nooradin Farah, a convicted violent offender. The police have reasonable grounds to believe that he may commit further violent acts while in the community.
Farah is set to reside in Edmonton following his release from incarceration on March 24, 2025. He is currently under a court order with specific conditions and will be monitored by the Behavioural Assessment Unit of the Edmonton Police Service.
Farah has a history of violent offenses, with some victims being strangers and others being acquaintances. His actions have led to physical harm or fatalities among his victims.
Anyone with information regarding any criminal activities involving Farah is encouraged to contact the Edmonton Police Service at 780-423-4567.
