Fire closes Calgary mall Monday morning

A Calgary mall has been closed after firefighters battled a blaze in one of its stores on Monday morning.
Calgary Fire Department crews were dispatched to the scene at 5:30 a.m. to a report of a fire at a mall in the 5100 block of Rundlehorn Drive N.E.
Crews were able to extinguish the fire just before 6 a.m. and no injuries were reported.
CFD public information officer Carol Henke said the fire started in a laundromat, which suffered "significant fire damage."

All other businesses in the center were closed during the day due to gas emissions from the laundromats, due to chemicals stored inside.
