The RandB star is suing Warner Bros. Discovery for moving forward with the release of the film even "after receiving proof that his information was false."
Chris Brown has filed a lawsuit against Warner Bros. Discovery, alleging that the media giant defamed him with a 2024 documentary that claims the RandB star had a long history of sexually abusing women.
Filed Tuesday (January 21) in Los Angeles Superior Court, the lawsuit accuses Warner Bros. Discovery and Ample Entertainment, the production company behind Chris Brown: A History of Violence, were accused of "promoting and publishing false information in their pursuit of likes, clicks, downloads and dollars and to the detriment" of the RandB star - while "knowing that this information was full of lies and deception and violated basic principles of journalism."
